Walkways is a visual walkthrough experience, and my first foray into games design. I was inspired by the work of Mark Dorf, whose clean, contemporary and naturalistic pieces I admire. Parts of his work involve intricate sculptures that emphasise the conflation of our natural and man-made worlds. I find this juxtaposition of aesthetics a satisfying and intriguing space to work in, and so developed an environment in which the player follows a path through wilderness which has been invaded by ominous unnatural forms. I also produced a soundtrack for the video to complete the experience.
